British author. She lived at her father’s remote rectory in Yorkshire with her two sisters and brother for most of her life. Her novel, Wuthering Heights, is today considered to be one of the greatest British novels. It describes feelings from a psychological perspective. Emily died at the tender age of 30 from tuberculosis.
